Retirement Account Review
Mayport’s Retirement Account Review offers these services to help ensure you are on the right track with your retirement savings:
- Current employer account advice: The typical 401(k) or 403(b) account offers between ten and twenty different fund options, varying widely in style, quality and cost. Mayport will first evaluate the funds you own in your retirement account. Then, we’ll carefully review the menu of other funds available in your employer’s plan. We will develop a set of recommendations for you, including advice on which funds to hold, which to sell, which to buy, and in which percentages. We will provide you with these recommendations in a comprehensive written report.
- Legacy employer account advice: If you have 401(k) or other retirement account left behind at a previous employer and have been wondering whether to leave it in place or to roll it over, Mayport can help. Mayport will analyze that account, including both the investment options as well as the fees, at both the plan level and the fund level. We will include recommendations for that account in our written report.
- Phone consultation: Your final written report will be accompanied by a 30-minute, one-on-one phone consultation during which we will walk through each of our recommendations, explaining everything in clear terms and answering all of your questions.
Cost: The cost for Mayport’s Retirement Account Review is $599. This includes up to four accounts. Additional accounts are $100 per account. If Mayport cannot recommend any improvements to your current investments, there is no charge.
